What a great time to camp and hike!



Here are quick to read and easy to follow guide on what not to forget when camping:

Sleep:

Tent. Most likely you need a tent to spend a cosy and warm night outside. The rule is choose a tent that can accomodate 1 or 2 more people than you actually need. + Don’t forget the tent pegs!

Sleeping bags for every person, it gets cold even in the summer.

Sleeping mat, camp bed or air bed for everyone. Airbeds are quite cheap to start with.

Pillows – to make your sleep even more comfortable.

Cooking:

Cooking Stove. Most likely you are going to eat during your stay. For this reason you need to make sure you take a camping stove. Don’t forget the fuel!

Cooking pans and utensils (spoons, a knife, cutting board, bowls, cups)

Water carriers

Food (obviously)

TIP:

Lighting:

Torch, lantern, flashlight to light the tent in the evening + the baterries

Lighter or matches

Garbage bags and wet wipes (or clothes) to leave the place clean after

Health:

First-aid kit is a must wherever you go!
Sunscreen. Never underestimate the sun!

Insect repellent. If you forget one, you are going to regret!

Soap and anti-bacterial handwash



Optional Items:

Camping toilet. This option is essential if you travel with kids.

Tent carpet for exta luxury touch.

Camping table makes your camping experience just a bit more comfortable.

Duct tape. There is nothing you cannot fix with it!

Rain gear. Just in case the weather will turn bad, make sure to take something to save your from disaster.

Power bank, GPS, maps. Make sure you won’t get lost and isolated from the rest of the world.
